Recap of SMI closing event

On Wednesday, November 23, the closing event of the SMI project took place at the Mercure Hotel in Mulhouse, the opportunity to meet one last time all together before the end of the project, and to share the results with the public.

A good occasion to remind you that Interreg Upper Rhine V A SMI project is :

    • three and a half years of work.
    • A collaborative project between Germany, France and Switzerland
    • 7 funded partners and 4 co-financer partners
    • 8 associated partners
    • A co-financing of 890 336.35€ of ERDF funds
    • A project combining exact sciences with social sciences:
        • A mapping of the different types of smart meters in the Upper Rhine with their perceptions, expectations and satisfaction levels of users, and national particularities (WP2)
        • Modeling of the acceptance of smart meters by households (WP3)
        • A comparative analysis of the security features of meters for the rules and regulations of the three countries (WP4)
        • Development of a smart meter and a web interface that graphs meter data to help users manage their own energy consumption (WP5)
        • An in-depth study on the legal and regulatory framework for smart meters in the Upper Rhine (WP6)
        • A feasibility study of the Inclusive Smart Meter (WP7)
        • White Paper on Smart Meter Applications: Innovative applications and business models for the use of smart meters (WP8)
